Bread & Jam - the coolest place to be...

WITH temperatures forecast to edge close to 40 degrees tomorrow - hotter than almost anywhere in the world -, and London very much in the ‘red zone’, I think it is fair to say it's not the ideal day to be holding a trade show.

The Bread & Jam Festival is at the Business Design Centre in Islington tomorrow (19th) and Wednesday (20th) and Sirane will be represented by David Bristow on the packaging side, and Zela Clarke, co-packing & fulfilment. And no-one was more relieved than David and Zela to discover the venue is fully air-conditioned.

Indeed the organisers have decided to throw open the doors to the venue at 8am - although entry to the halls is still from 9am - to allow visitors to get to the show and into the hall before the heat really picks up.

So if you're still planning to go, what will you find on the Sirane booth? Well we're planning to exhibit our plastic-free packaging solutions, such as our recyclable paper-based stand-up pouch Earthpouch, but David will be able to talk to visitors about Sirane's whole packaging range, from absorbency through to susceptor, cooking bags to board.

Meanwhile Zela is our new head of co-packing and fulfilment, and will be able to talk to visitors about all the services ‘Sira-Pack’ can offer including design services, shelf-ready packaging, co-packing and more.

Bread & Jam may be the hottest ticket in town as well as the coolest place to be.
