ARE AWARDS LIKE BUSES?

AWARDS are like buses.... you wait years, and then suddenly two come at once! Okay, so hopefully no-one reading this has ever had to wait years for a bus, that would be ridiculous, but hopefully you get my point.

We're very proud of our Earthwedge. It's a real solution to a huge problem, that problem being the millions of sandwich packs that end up in landfill every single day.

There are solutions out there which claim to be recyclable. The reality is that they are only recyclable if you can separate the individual components. And the sad reality is that most consumers are simply not even going to try....

So our Earthwedge is different. Different because the whole pack can simply can in with the paper recycling stream. It's that easy for the consumer. 

Not only did it win first place in the Sammies Awards in the environmental category earlier this year, but it also took first place in the Sustainable Food Awards in the sustainable packaging category. It's worth noting that our Earthboard salmon boards were also shortlisted....
